ABOUT

Darrell  Watson

Watson has a varied background of experience starting with his service to this Country as an Officer in the United States Air Force.  As a junior officer, Watson was hurled into a position designated for a seasoned officer leading 75 military and civilian personnel while managing a $15 million budget.  He caught the attention of the Wing Commander and selected as an Instructor at the United States Air Force Academy – shaping the minds and character of our future leaders.  Watson was also recognized for an heroic act by saving the life of a fellow serviceman.  During his last assignment, He was selected as Company Grade Officer of the Year and subsequently assigned to Headquarters Pacific Air Command.  There he worked tirelessly overseeing the retirement of 72 F-4 fighter jets while transitioning the new F-15 and F-16 fighter jets;  while working alongside dignitaries from Washington DC as well as working alongside officials within the Japanese and Korean governments.

After serving his Country, Watson joined the Pepsico Inc team in New Orleans as an Area Director where he lead a team of 250 employees and 30 managers while managing a $56 million budget.  Immediately, Watson had a positive impact on sales and profits (29% and 38% respectively) within his first year.  He was also recognized by the Division President for creating a disaster plan in preparation of Hurricane Andrew which resulted in a cost savings of $3.1 million in damages…the plan was mandated for all locations along the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana.  Wherever Watson has worked from Area Director to Director of Operations, he has built high performing teams in challenging environments, increased sales and profits, while giving back to the local community.

His approach starts with understanding the business needs and existing capabilities within the management and then seeks understanding around the priorities and interests.  Watson proactively seeks new opportunities to establish business relationships with major Fortune 100 and 500 companies that add significant revenue and profits to the bottom line.
